Section 5: Selecting the Recognition Options

Tip: should the recognition results be unsatisfactory, even though you

selected the correct recognition options, then the image quality of your

documents is probably insufficient. See the section Adjusting the Image

Quality to solve this problem.

ADVANCED RECOGNITION OPTIONS

Next to the document language, other document characteristics such

as the Font type and Character pitch play an important role in the

processing of documents.

You can access them by clicking the expansion arrow in the

Configuration group, or via the Readiris button > Advanced

Settings.
